An Italian company , Caffia, wants a new unique design concept for a tiny chareacteristic coffee shop that will be roll out in all capitals of Europa. The first shop of 60 m2 is located in the heart of Amsterdam. It is a transformation of a typical Amsterdam canal house into an interior that is literally a white dream that will make passengers curious. The entrance of the coffee shop is from te extreme left. From this point of view there is a dominant colonnade that is diagonally places in the rectangular floorplan. The columns are places with an angle of 20 degrees in the x-plane, this transformation creates an unique triangular colonnade with an interesting perspective that leads the customers to the heavenly coffee of Caffia. The colonnade is also a part of furniture in the shop. It flows into coffeetables of different heights, so everyone can look through the one and only window of the coffee shop. The dominant colonnade that characterize Caffia, creates curiosity for outsiders and a warm welcome for the coffee lovers.
